I am! I don't understand when guys flirt with me, and I really don't know how to flirt! Case in point:
Guy I used to date and I have started hanging out again. I can't tell if it's friend hanging out or more than friend hanging out.
This other guy that I like is just my friend. I wanna tell him, but I don't know how, and I don't know how he would take it!

Anybody got any advice, besides to quit whining? I'm so at a loss here!

Flash your boobies now and again. Talk semi-dirty to the guy you are feeling. And this is the most important part. . .acquire a taste for cheap, warm beer.

When you guys are talking, just tell him you don't want to mess up the friendship, but you're really into him and wanted to see how he feels. If he just wants a friendship, he'll say so. Might hurt your feelings and be a bit awkward, but it's better than trying to drop hints (either he won't notice or he'll ask you why you're being so weird and that's definitely worse). Just be straight up, works for me.

continue conversation, etc. Ever played 6degrees of Kevin Bacon? This is like that...find little things that could POSSIBLY connect you back to him or at least make you memorable. Talk about college, your clubs, what you like...etc. But most importantly, ask questions.

I alwyas find that my most successful flirting is done when I'm not conscious of the fact that I'm flirting. Then again, I'm a chicken shit so what do I know.

(now if only i took some of my own advice)

I think guys misninterpret my flirtatiousness as rudeness or something. Some of the replies I've gotten in the past were flat out mean.

Wasn't that the theme of "The Little Mermaid"? What are we teaching our children? And why are we coming to find that it's true in real life?!?
