legacy and TKE

In TKE a legacy could be considered a relative of Grand Father, Father, Brother, Uncle, Or Cousin. And we are required to give them a bid, unless we feel thet are not a right fit for our chapter, Then we most contact the person who refered the legacy and tell them why we did not bid the person

That may be your chapter's policy/rule, and I kinda like it. Surely, the person sending a recommendation deserves consideration and a report.

But I don't think TKE Internationally has put that in writing.

Our providence advisor informed us about it, it is some kind of mew rule because a lot of people had issues with bidding members and they felt like they were forced to do it, so if they don't like someone and he is a legacy, thgey have to notify why, and honestly, i think if you can do that, then you should be entitled to your choice

Good to know, since my son is a TKE legacy through my dad :)

A Legacy does not always get the Ace in the hole card for admittance. It is a better than intro only.

They still have to pass the muster of the Chapter. It isnt automatic to be sure.

Excellent...

Very good to know... One thing is certain, if a legacy fits into a chapter, its all the better for everyone...

A legacy, in my opinion, is a very special thing... :D

If I end up having a son, I would more than like for him to be a Frater... Ill admit it, I will be one of those dads that pushes for it...
