Just wondering/Before you were a Rho

I have a couple quick questions that I hope someone could answer:

1. How many Philos or Rhoers are in this club?

1 a. If so did that influence you to become a member of SGRho?

2. How many were in auxillary groups (Kappa Kourt, Alpha Angels, Doves, Omega Essence, Iota Sweet, and Etc.)

Just trying to get the convo flowing.

Also, are there in Rhos in NC on here?

Hi. Not sure what you mean with your first question about Philos and Rhoers. I was in an auxilliary group before. I was an Alpha Phi Alpha Sweetheart. That did not influence my decision to become an SGRho. I was just a friend of the Alphas and the AKA's when I was an undergraduate. Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. herself, influenced my decision to become a member. http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif

1. on a nationwide scale, I dont have an accurate figure of the amount of financial rhoers and philos. But I can do some research and find that out for you!

2. I didnt even know about these groups as an interest until I started doing research on Sigma Gamma Rho and her history. So they did not influence me into pursuing membership into the sorority.

3. I was never in an auxillary group. During my freshman year the alphas brought in a couple of Alpha Angels, but they were not received well.......

For me none of the above. When I attended my first BOule in 2002 in Miami, there was a celebration of a new soror who had been a Philo. It was wonderful to see.:)

1 a. Auxilary groups were not an influence in terms of my decision to join Sigma Gamma Rho. I saw a difference in Sigma women; they were down to earth, personable, and treated me as a sister from day one. In them, I saw women who were not afraid to take a path less traveled, who dared to be different. Sigma is an original and as I always say, it takes a stronger woman to be an individual. That was a big influence on me.

2. i was never in an auxillary group myself, but we had lots of sorors in my undergrad chapter who were... but if i had my choose an aux. group... i think we all know which one i'd have picked... (i know, i know, i am going off tangent again)...

I know several of our Rhoers are only looking at colleges with a Sigma chapter, or with a grad chapter close enough that they could start a chapter.

Personally I wasn't in an aux group.
