I think there are professional and honorary Greeks at BC, but last I checked there are no inter/national affiliated social Greeks on campus.

There are exclusive groups, but correct me if I'm wrong, none are NPC/NIC related.

Yeah, I don't think BC has a greek system, at least not one that our Alum Panhel supports. However BU has a decent sized one for the NE.

Correct - BC does not have a Greek system.

BU does in fact have one - small in percentages (about 3% of campus is Greek), but certainly thriving.

Boston Sororities

Hey guys,

I'm trying to find an old friend and I'm not sure what sorority she's in.

What are the sororities in Boston?

And are there any sororities that a girl doesn't have to belong to a specific university in order to join the sorority?...cause I think she mentioned that.

Thanks so much! :)

4 posts all on the same topic? get a freakin hobby.

why dont you go on facebook or something and go stalk... i mean, find, your "friend."

we might be able to help you out if you could at least tell us which university she attends. is the sorority a member of the national panhellenic council or is it an nphc member?

tha facebook suggestion might be your best bet if you have limited information.

I'm from Boston, and I can tell you that there are a lot of Greek schools here. Not all of them have huge Greek systems, but I would say that most NPC sororities are represented in the Boston area. I have not heard of any NPC sororities not being associated with a school though, I don't think that's allowed. I'm guessing you're not talking about NPC then? I unfortunately don't know about any other groups outside of NPC.

Hi, you're the same one who posted multiple topics on BC sororities, right?

Anyway, as was said, there are a lot of sororities in Boston. At my alma mater (Boston U), there were quite a few just on that campus. Your best bet is to check school websites yourself.

It's a bit odd that your friend wouldn't tell you her sorority, though...

just like the girl didnt tell her which school in boston she goes to?

because she's a STALKER!

There are many other schools besides those two in the Boston area though. Off the top of my head, there's also Bentley, Tufts, MIT, Harvard, and Suffolk. There are a bunch more with Greek systems too. I was finally starting to get involved with our alum panhellenic right before they shut down a few months ago, and I was surprised at the number of schools they supported.

Yeah, that sounds a bit odd too. I try not to be harsh on new posters, but this is kind of weird.
