Rhoer Club
 

I would like to know if you or your chapters have Rhoers. If so what activities do you have planned or have done in the past year. I'm new at this and looking for ideas.

Hi soror! I was the Rhoer Advisor for my chapter for the past two years until I decided to go back to school. Here is a list of things we participated in:
~Sorority Functions ex.Founder's Day, Black History Program, Youth Symposium
~College Prep Workshop ex.SAT prep,help filling out college and financial aid applications
~Interaction with undergrads ex. attended probates and stepshows/parties
~Rhoer Round-UP (similiar to a Sigma Tea held at the begining of the year)
~Chapter scrapbook(had the girls work on their own personal bio, displayed the book at our Regional conference)
~Community Service(donated clothes to battered women's shelter, made get well cards for sick sorors and ones residing in nursery homes, partipated in March of Dimes Walkathon)
~Rhoer Retreat(annually we would pay for two connecting hotel rooms and have a sleepover with pizza, arts and crafts, and Rites of Passage)
~Fundraiser-so far have sold raffle tickets

I also planned a shopping trip but because of my recent move it fell through. I hope that this helps you.
