The Third Whistle From Mario 3
 

Ok, I just got this emulator, and I feel old school.

I got the two whistles in the first world. Where's the third one again?

Where were the first two? I know there is one in a castle but that may be the 2nd one. I might just have to go break out the old Nintendo to refresh my memory. I know where they are when i play.. i'mjust having trouble thinking of them.

I think the 3rd whistle is somewhere in world 3. Sorry, I can't remember.

It's so funny that you are playing this game because I was going to play it this evening, but my Nintendo wasn't working. :(

The third whistle is in World 2. Defeat the Hammer Bros. and you will recieve a Hammer. Go to the very TOP RIGHT of the World map and USE THE HAMMER. You will destroy the rock and you will be able to proceed to the right, where you will find a Frog suit and the third whistle

I remember that game!
I could never make it past the Ice World (level 6, I think). It was too slippery and I always ended up falling.
My sister jacked my NES player from me my senior year in college. :( It was good to have during my college days; come home drunk and play Balloon Fight with your friends until the sun came up.

I used to rock Mario 3. I'm trying to remember, I timed myself on how fast I could beat it... with the whistles and all that crap you could do it really fast

I SO wish I could bust out an nintendo right now. Any online simulators aren't the same... you need the NES controller to really do it right!

ah old school nintendo! how can you not love it?
and mario 3 is my favorite game.
mario 1 is second.

I LOVE my original Nintendo! I actually have 3 but have to mix the parts btwn them get at least one to work.

My favorite is Mario 3. Never really like Mario 2 much at all, did anybody? The Magic Kingdom game and some surfing game (forget whats its called) are my other favorites.

Have no clue. That and PAC MAN were boring as hell!

Last Friday, I won $435 from ONE pull of a 25 cent slot machine.

I've retired due to the fact that that will NEVER happen to me again....and am now playing less pressure games.

I loved Mario 2 and the Magic Kingdom game. My favorite, though, was StarTropics. I was obsessed when I was little.

isnt there a thread about someone beating the game in like 1 minute? it may be in the cool sites section or the entertainment section.
