trust the judicial system in this country? Considering the outcomes of the high profile cases over the last several years, would you expect JUSTICE if you were a defendent in a case?

In this country, I don't trust any system totally--and I'm not a conspiracy theorist at all. We know personally many distinguished jurists and attorneys among the bruhs, as well as others of good will who ably serve in the judicial system, so it's hard to just say "no." Yet, it's naive to not recognize that political/legal systems are run by people, subject to corruption and influence by money and power, to some degree.

I'd expect justice were I a defendent cause I'd know I didn't do the isht. Besides, my stellar defense team of SummerChild, Kimmie1913, joined by junior associates SkeePHIstiAKAte and Exquisite would get me off.....they betta, as much $$ as they cost me. :)

The ALPHA-HOLOCAUST is the scope of which the JUST-US system has been able to flourish w/deception, fraud, mayhem being of a fair DEMOkkkRACY.

In closing, the only TRUST I have is in the RESILIENCE of the FIRST MAN & FIRST WOMAN to overcome wicked overtures of the United Snakkkes of AmeriKKKa to use and supply AGENTS & PLANTS like the "THOM-ASSES & The New Bush Mammie of the Court" to make US content and believing of the legal system.

When the system went from "a jury of your peers" to a "fair and impartial jury" (due to a judicial ruling, I think), I knew that it was doomed. People, by nature, are NOT fair and impartial otherwise we wouldn't have words like 'discrimination', 'prejudice' and 'partisan' in the legal vocabulary.

I agree. I think its hard to trust anything that is run completely by people. We all know that people bring their baggage into any insitution thus making it anything but 100%.

Look I have no problem with him stating an opinion about politics, race relations, school, the economy, whatever - as long as he leaves the racist crap out of it (sorry racially hateful or offensive material for those who ascribe to the theory that power dictacts what's racist and what isn't).

The only thing is his statement/rant that I objected to was the one line calling all "non-blacks" runts or genetic mutate ridden (do get that part) animals <sorry but I don't see how that can't be seen as racially offensive to the rest of "us" here on GC>

I understand what you are saying, but this is not the place for YOU to comment. Now if it was in Greek Life, yes. Your frat's forum, yes. But here, no.

This is his frat's forum and if his bruhs find it offensive, then let them be the ones to check him. Otherwise, like I said, put him on ignore.

He's made it clear many times what his beliefs are, and chastising him is not going to change that.

So I should only comment on something that is racial offensive or wrong if it falls within my Fraternity's forum or on a more public forum such as Greek Life? I'm sorry but I see that as part and parcel of a system (society or otherwise) that would encourage division, conflict, inequality, or injustice - something pertinent to this thread...

In an early post there was outrage over the racially loaded language and miscarriage of justice in Linden Texas - now would we as outsiders be wrong to comment or do something in that case because we aren't members of that community? While it is a very, very loose paralell, I do see it as somewhat the same - in that an "outsider" can comment on something that they see as blatantly wrong and offensive.

The final point is something that PHA/Shriner1906 would agree with - as long as people sit by and do nothing to effect change when they see wrong, then the wrong will continue... this thread discussing the relative trust of the US judical and justice system is a fine example of that - we can all agree that the courts are prejudiced or imbalanced to some degree or another, but not to the degree that they where a even quarter-century ago... people have been trying (and still are) to effect change, and eliminate the unequal justice metted out.

I know he has made clear what his beliefs are, and to be perfectly honest some I do find interesting to some degree (his Moammar Ghadafi alter-ego is slighty amusing even)- and I would encourage him to continue to express and debate tham with others... however I also feel that it is possible fro him to express his beliefs without using racially offensive (or loaded) language or rhetoric.
