Fraternity vs. Sorority
 

Now I don't want to start another convo on the IPT and SGRho alliance that is not my goal...but the comments that I have been reading were disturbing

A lot of SGRhos were claming..." I don't need a man" and the Iotas claiming..." I don't need a woman"

In reality people...the reason why organziations seek to align themselves with a sister organziation or a brother organziation whether it be another sorority or sweetheart group...

Is because of the natural bond between man and woman. Its called DIVINE ORDER. Theres the sun and the moon...night and day....up and down...foward and back...these thing are called opposites and without them...the world would not be marvelously balanced as GOD had intended it to be.

Thus after he created man he created what?...thats right boys and girls WOMAN. Because even GOD knew that man needed woman and woman in turn needed man...(theres a quick bible study for ya)

So please be careful what you say...and seriously seek out the truth of your own heart. Its ok to want to have a sister organization and its ok to want a brother organization to be affliated with.
Thats divine order...even God himself ordained it...so stop fighting it.

Love one another...help one another. And if some college campuses want to claim and IPT/SGRho alliance...Don't get mad be happy for the two organizations and support them...even if they want to claim an IPT/AKA alliance don't get mad get glad.

In the end it doesn't matter whom you affliate yourself with; as NPHC organizations we should be there to help each other out anyway...so that we are not always COMPLETELY depending on a brother organization or a sister organization to help carry us, so that those who do not have an affliate brother/sister organization to "claim", may still be able to receive help, resources, and advise from greeks of similiar backgrounds.

Although depending on a brother organization or sister organization is NOT a bad thing...its divine order...just wanted to make that clear.



One last thing...Please, Please, Please refrain from commenting on the IPT/SGRHO alliance....there is already a thread about that and maybe several others...I do seek comments but comment on whether you agree or not and why.

Yes we read each other's forums. And yes we post in each other's forums. But we do not go into another D9s forum starting a thread about them and their relationships another D9.

And if your intent was a general comment, then why didn't you post it in your own forum, as such, for the rest of us to read and respond?

And, I am not struggling with brother/sister claims. Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. has no brother organization. Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. has no sister organization. And as you are well aware, Ms. ZPB Finer Womanhood?, the Zetas and the Sigmas are the only D9 organizations that have such a bond.

And I repeat, bluriver is this you? Because you sound like (s)he.

i don't have sorors.

but if you're cute, i'll claim you..no matter the sorority. for at least the remainder of the night, anyway.
