How do I fix this? I'm getting Registry_Error in my computer.

I think you are going to have to re-format the hardrive and start over. The blue screen of death is the worst one you can get :(

What's the FULL error you're seeing and when are you seeing it (ie. during bootup)?

ok, how do I reboot using my window xp cd?

Place your Windows XP CD into your tray and reboot. During bootup you should see it say, "Press any key to boot from CD....". If you don't see this then you'll need to press F12 (if it's a Dell) early in the boot process to change your boot options. Select your CD drive and you should be on your way.

Not working. This is really pissing me off!!!!

I have the cd in my cd drive and reboot it. It takes me straight to the menu which have Safe Mode, etc.

I got some really important files in that computer.

You can always take that harddrive out and put it into another computer to save any files you need.

Check to make sure any new hardware or software is properly installed. if this is a new installation, ask your hardware or software manufacturer for any windows updates you might need.

If problems continue, disable or remove any newly installed hardware or software. Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing. if you need to use Safe Mode to remove or disable components, restart your computer, press f8 to select Advanced Starup Options, and then select Safe Mode.

Safe Mode should allow you to at least save the important files. You may want to try holding down the f12 key as soon as the computer powers on to get to the screen you are looking for. It is usually very early in the process where you need to press the button.

I will let someone more familiar with XP than me help with anything else though.

I might have to do what Rudey said and transfer some file on another computer. Then I'll have to reformat the computer.

Yeah, it's starting to look more and more like a format.
