Summer Vacation!
 

Our board has been dormant for a little while, so I just wanted to see what all my Kappa sisters are up to this summer!

I am spending the summer with my family in our new house in our seashore resort hometown! I am working at a restaurant on the boardwalk... with views of the beach! I am also busy planning our formal recruitment in January (I am membership). I am heading back south in August to begin my student teaching in 4th grade!

I leave on Friday to drive up to Middlebury, VT- where I will be from June 10th-August 12th... I won't be able to post on Greek Chat during this time though, as I'm doing the Japanese Language School for Middlebury College--- where they make us take a 9 week language pledge. I'm really looking forward to it though as I will be sooooo much more fluent when it's over... that and my friend Kat is going for a 2nd year of Russian up there, so she and I will visit with non-verbal communications... she and I were friends from early high school, I don't get to see her much since we both graduated and attend different universities--- so yeah, this will be a good summer, and while I may not be able to talk to my fiance, Joel, much while I'm at Middlebury--- as soon as I get back we are moving in together into our first apartment :)

Girl, your life never has a dull moment. :)

I'm here at home for the summer, traveling between here and my sister's house on the east coast. She's getting married this summer - so I'll be spending lots of time with her (and getting great ideas for my own wedding).

Hopefully, I'll find a job. Soon.

I was looking for new luggage and came across this, and I just had to share!! It is really cute- I might even order that pattern, because I highly doubt I'll ever find luggage with a pansy print!
