Assault on BLACKMAN...WHAT'S NEW?

While many of us are anticipating the heat, humidity, and hospitality of Houston for our upcoming General Convention I trust, hope, and pray that MANY have a working knowledge of the OLD SOUTH RACISM that KKKontinues to exist in small Texas Towns.

Linden, Texas is where a vicious assault took place in 2003 that left a mentally challenged BLACKMAN unable to attend to daily life-skill functions that many take for granted. The BLACKMAN is now in the care of a nursing home and suffered brain damage at the hands of four WHITE PUNKS who ranged in the ages 18-24.

Their punishment entailed for a judge to recently sentence three of the four to terms of THIRTY DAYS in jail along w/the fourth kKKoward being sentenced to SIXTY DAYS in jail! Brothers, WTF? This is ridiculous and is no surprise.

What is more unique about this matter is the FACT, that the UNITED STATES (aka snaKKKes) Post Office in Linden, Texas has a mural of barefoot slaves picking cotton that was painted in the 1930s by Victor Arnautoff that greets patrons.

Despite complaints from black customers and taxpayers postal officials have refused to address the issue and have stated their plans to keep the mural displayed. Linden, Texas is reportedly a small town of 2,256 residents with one-fifth of them being black and four-fifths of them being white.

I am hopeful that perhaps some of our Texas brothers can look into this matter and provide more insight. We need to make this known to the brotherhood and stroll on to Linden, Texas or at least send a message that we are not going to sit back and let this go unnoticed.

I am going to contact my brothers of the NOI along w/a few other Sisters & Brothers with the hopes that perhaps we can organize and strategize about this. Any ALPHA BROTHER who has a political/government seat/position I am going to seek out to see why in the hell a mural is allowed to continue to be displayed in a govt. bldg.

Brothers, if you have ANY ideas about doing some good for OUR PEOPLE and visiting the family of the BLACKMAN who was assaulted and continues to live in a nursing home at 42 years of age PLEASE hit me up with a private message.

I KNOW WE AS ALPHAMEN can at least round up a number of brothers and make a donation to the family or something. Brothers, I know this is short notice but in the wickedness of RACISM methodical planning must be sometimes substituted by COMMON SENSE APPROACHES!

I don't trust this 'family' we call the judicial system. It aint right. The federal courts should have stepped in and forced that lower court to dish out punishment befitting the crime. judicial system They have redlined justice even in 2005.
