Will initiate 8,200 in two-year period (#1 GLO). No. 1 is Ark. (83), LSU (69), MS (68), UNLV (64), and 25 others with 27 or more. Clemson, made famous for hazing in "Goat" pledged 27. Donated 200,000 hours and $200,000 to charity Richard M. Burr (Wake '75) elected US Senator from NC. Remember: "Kappa Sigma is Not for a day, an hour or a college term only, but for Life." |
Just wanted to say congrats Kappa Sigma on all your hard work. I know the new chapter at my school (Suffolk University) definitely put in hard work through their process of being a colony this past year, and continues to do so by recruiting great guys! :)

I was reading my husband's Cadeuses (wrong spelling, but I just don't feel like going and finding it), and I was pleased to see how strong the chapters are here in Georgia.:)

Congratulations Kappa Sigma!
The Kappa Sigma at my school(University of Arkansas) has a SPECTACULAR house and the men to back it up! They definately have one of the best reputations, if not the best, on campus. |
congrats to all kappa sigma's. it shows what hard work done well can do.

Congrats to Kappa Sigma.
I read the letter in its entirety. Playing devils advocate, I would have to say that I would also like to have seen information presented on their campus involvement, academics, and risk management. The letter touches mainly on growth and expansion. The letter says its about accomplishments, and there are a lot more things that I am sure they have accomplished that they can be proud of. Guess its just the PR guy in me. I would have written a more balanced letter/release. If the growth and expansion presented in the letter was the focus of the biennium, then it should have been presented as 'these were our goals and look how we accomplished them. In the next biennium we'll be working to meet a new set of goals including, A, B, & C." |

Thanks for the congratulations; hopefully these new chapters end up being strong and the new members make contributions to their chapters. It's been a crazy last few years for the fraternity overall, what with a new headquarters being built, withdrawl from the NIC and other changes. My only hope is that the fraternity keeps strong and continues to succeed. |
