caught an ad for this on HBO the other night. The tagline "the first fun sad reality show within a show" is kind of interesting.

So let me see if I get this right: Kudrow plays this B List actress trying to get back into the spotlight. And we get to see it all through a reality show that she's enlisted to get her publicity?

It sounds fun. The premiere is this Sunday and I'll probably check it out.

I don't have HBO. If I did, I'd definitely watch it.

thats too bad. Some friends of mine don't have cable (don't want to pay the bills, etc, etc.) but if a show they like comes on they come over to my place and we'll hang out and watch it together. This spring it was all about Deadwood, but that season has ended. I'm eager to see what The Comeback is like - it sounds like a funny format.

bump just because I have to rave about Lisa Kudrow's acting. I hadn't seen her in much other than Friends and I wasn't really sure what to expect from her. But she has totally blown me away in The Comeback. She basically takes this character who is simultaneously annoying, needy, funny, kind person. I've never seen a character in a comedy show so much depth before.
