What are some shows that you never watched while they were on, but started watching once you caught them in syndication?

Oh, let's see: Frazier, Becker, Homicide: life on the streets; there must be more but those are the ones I can think of right off.

Law & Order - I never watched the old ones the first time around but now they are my favorites.

My So Called Life - MTV Marathons
News Radio - I loved that show; it's a shame what happend to Phil

I didn't start watching the original Law and Order until a couple of years ago, so I'm just starting to catch up on the early episodes.

Cheers.... my bedtime was at 8:30 and thats when it came on. Plus my mom didn't think a show set in a bar was very appropriate for a child of my age. But she would let me stay up until after the theme song played.

Nick at Nite and GET SMART is my all time fav show. There have been a few shows, Nanny, Voyager (started watching the last season), Like Happy Days, Patty Duke. There has been a few over the years. These are just a few.

There are a few shows I like that originally aired before I was even born:

Star Trek: TOS
The Avengers
Get Smart

Usually, when I start watching a new show, it's current, so I watch the first-run eps as they air, and use eps in syndication (if available) to catch up with the story to date. It's fun trying to catch up when you're watching 3 different seasons of a show at once. :p

I LOVE Get Smart!! I wish I could find it on DVD. I loved Nick at Nite in the '90s with Mary Tyler Moore, Patty Duke, Dick Van Dyke, etc.

Okay, I know everybody is going to laugh at me for this, but...Friends. I never saw a single episode of that show until 2002. I watched a re-run of it by accident one day, and then started watching it at its regular airtime on Thursday nights. Just in time for the last two seasons. :)

King of Queens is on Fox when I get home from work, so I've gotten sucked into that one as well.

I also love Get Smart!

I didn't really watch Early Edition when it was on. Now that it's on satellite tv everday, I'm addicted to it. I always wondered, why don't Gary use the stock tip and make money while saving people?
