Legal Expert, A Question

If somebody was caught with 9 lbs of marijuana at the airport and her defense was that it was planted. Then during trial, she backed up her defense by having a prisoner from another country say that he herd somebody telling somebody else that she was innocent, what is her chance that she was going to be found innocent?

Yebo. I've been following it and think that she's guilty based on the evidence presented in court. What you think?

I haven't heard about this before, but i'm laughing my ass off at the patheticness of the defense that you stated, moe.ron

Yeah, "planting" 9 pounds of weed on someone is believeable  9 pounds of weed takes up A LOT of space, doesn't it? And relying on hearsay and another prisoner is excellent legal defense too.

hahahaha

D,

Here is a good article that lay out the evidence.

I haven't followed it too much, but I don't really believe her when she said it was planted. However, I'm not so sure how I feel about the prosecution wanting to appeal it since she was only given 20 years and not life. But I guess if it's Indonesia's law that she gets life, than it is understandable.

Other than being a Dope on Dope, transporting it is worse!

God What an Idiot, using that excuse!:( Just where in the hell does one attempt to hide 9 lb. of weed?

She is lucky!, I guess, but remember when in a Foreign Land, watch your ass!

They get real Shi**y.

Do Mexico come to mind? So glad to have gotten back to US soil twice.:)

That would be inadmissible evidence. Witnesses can only testify from their own knowledge, not what they heard someone else say.
