I just got stalked... Payton style
FYI...I just got these random IMs on my AOL from this person who won't leave me alone; This person got my info from GC... What out for these screen names:

Creepy. I have a stalker now too, but I don't know where he/she/it got my info. Maybe from here? MC1278 I think.

One time I got stalked online too. I had about 5 people harassing me and they knew shit about me. Turns out they got my screen name from livejournal and somehow found out my name on here also. They even had stolen pictures from my aol web profile. How did I find that out? Cuz someone IM'd me and directed me to a site FULL of people that do this for fun.... they find someone on the internet and find out stuff about them and post it (coincidentally it's a vBulletin) and then harass the person and post the conversations. I wish I could remember the website.

When I was in college, I got this weird phone call at like 7 am in the morning. Of course, I was still sleeping and the phone woke me. The male caller said, "hey (my actual name) how's it going?"
Me: "Who is this?" Caller: "This is (screenname I don't remember). You told me to call you last night remember?" Me: "Umm no I didn't. I haven't even heard of your screenname." Caller: "Yes you told me to call you last night around 11 pm" Me: "No I didn't. I was in the bed at 11 pm." Caller: "This is (my college number) and I am speaking to (my first and last name), aren't I?" Me: "Yes but I still didn't tell you to call me and I still don't know who you are." I hung up then. It was completely weird. I still don't know who it was. |
Welcome to the fucking club. I'm being dead serious, too. That shit isnt funny nor is it any fun. I used to think women were just over-exaggerating when they say they have a stalker. I used to think it was some mental defect that women have because they always need attention and if they're not getting it from their man then they start making shit up about pyscho people stalking them. Well, I don't think thats always the case anymore. And even moreso on the web.
Its kind of creepy. You just have to turn around and stalk them till they leave you alone.....and thats even if they leave you alone. I'm still dealing with mine...random phone calls with no message but with music in the background or their friends calling me up and just saying their names on my voicemail. And they do it at the worst of times. They always seem to call around 2am....plus or minus 30 minutes. But what I find most funny is when you get a message the next morning from them saying " I know you're fucking some other girl right now, thats the only reason why your phone is ever off at this hour." :D ETA: And mine is because of GC, too. |
