Alpha auxillary

I was wondering if Alpha Phi Alpha has auxillary groups for young males in high school. I work with the Irvington High Alternative high school. The day school has a program ran by Phi Beta Sigma and one by Zeta Phi Beta, but the students in the alternative program are ineligible. Is there a way to start a mentoring program for these kids with the Alphas?

A lot of chapters link with existing area groups. My chapter works with the Boy Scouts (sort of Boyz in the Hood, if you will), Urban League, an after school reading program with a local church, etc... I'd suggest you check with the local collegiate and alumni Alpha chapters.

...and props to you for looking for that sort of effort.
