93 Alpha Gam Songs

Have you heard that 93 Alpha Gam songs are now up on the IHQ website in MP3 format? It's cool - I can finally hear the words and music together for a bunch of songs that I never knew how it sounded.

That is new today! I swear it wasn't there yesterday. How awesome! They even have the piano music for the songs sung during rituals so my poor chapters who have no piano can make some CDs of the music. This is just AWESOME!

I'm SO glad they did this! It will be especially helpful for recruitment purposes! Red and Buff Roses to our webmasters for their hard work!

I really really really hope they add "A Special Family" to the list very soon! It's my all-time favorite Alpha Gam song!

It's on the list as Special Family... under the S's alphabetically!

I was listening while Dee and I were chatting, lol. didn't have time to listen to all 93 but here's some comments so far.

Today - GTau sings it this way too but I think it is soo much faster than the John Denver tune (which I like).

Pref Poem - GTau does this with a "popcorn effect" - diff sister diff line

Grace - Yeah....when you only sing it once or twice a year, it's nice to learn the words, lol.

Surprised The Rose isn't there.

LOVE EDELWEISS AND YESTERDAY...more later, lol. :D

Can we try for 2005?;)

GAH! I don't know how I could have missed it!

It's cool because I had most of those songs on a cassette tape format from our former LA, along with the binder filled with sheet music for our songs. I'm sure IHQ was getting requests left and right to put these songs on a CD.

Anyone know IHQ's policy regarding saving it to your own disk? Of course no one would be profiting from it -- it'd be for chapter use. I like this format because chapters can take the songs they need and put it on a CD for each specific occasion.
