How do you network in a new city?
 

Hello Sorors,
I saw a post by one of our Sorors on our board and I thought that her question was a good way to start a new topic....So my question is when we move to a new city what whould be the best way to network as far as meeting new Sorors to hang out with?

I'll be the first to answer my question.
1st Post a message on our International website because Sorors do read it.
2nd Call up nationals a head of time and have them send you the address of chapters that are in the area that you will be.
3rd Ask Sorors in your chapter of who they know in that area.
4th If you meet a Soror ask her if she knows someone for example sites like this (as our Soror did she posted a question)
5th Chatting isn't always the greatest thing to do on the net but websites such as blackvoices, black planet and yahoo etc have clubs or you can post a message on.
6th Black Planet is a perfect example type in SGRho and specify the state you might be surprised to see how many Sorors are on that website
