Question for the Canadians

I am moving to Canada in about 3 weeks and I'm wondering what my best options are. I do not want to become a citizen, but I will be there at least a year, probably longer and working, what do people in these situations do? Should I just get a work visa? HELP!!

There will be different requirements for working in Canada temporarily depending on what country you come from, which of course is pretty standard.

I don't know the specific requirements, but the best place to start looking is the government of Canada website.

Living and Working Temporarily in Canada

Also, if I am not mistaken you are moving to Montreal. The province of Quebec may also have it's own special requirements.
Check out the government of Quebec website (don't worry it's in English)
