Community/Economic Development Interest?
Greetings all!
My Development Group is currently working with an Alpha Alumni Chapter that provides housing for Low and Moderate income populations (families/elderly/disabled). They have recently completed a condo development and are in the middle of a $18 million rehabilitation of 500+ units of housing. We have been asked to put together a informational conference (2.5 days max) in the Fall of '05. I thought I would use this forum to assertain interest. Topics will include, how to get started, 501c3 application, funding sources, law & taxation + tour. Understanding that all groups have other models of CD/ED programs, there is a possibility that you could be a panelist...this conference is designed to show those who have the opportunity, drive and talent...great things may be accomplished! Service Above Self! The Divine 9, Churches and other non-traditional development organizations will be targeted within the next 55 days (gotta love those 5's)... Nothing works like direct mailing. Any Interest? Hit me up... Kool Moe Dee said it best... You need knowledge the concept of sacrifice... The dollar is moot, Knowledge is KING! A. P. B. |
I'm always glad to learn of folk doing something positive to better the AA community - - - Keep up the good work.
