2 weeks notice
 

Okay, so I went to talk my boss today about putting in my notice. I walked in his office promptly at 8:30 am and asked him if I could speak to him privately asap....it's now 10 am and he is still in his office. I have my letter all ready to go!

I just want to get this over with! Anyone have any horror stories of when they were leaving their job?? I have to prepare for the worst, just in case.;)

I have had 2 waitressing jobs where they did not LET me quit...they kept calling and putting me on the schedule...finally one of them I just had to not show up so they "fired me" and the other one...well I moved out of the apt that the boss owned and took one of the cooks with....

Can they do that?!?

That happened to my husband when he used to work at Disneyland!! He told them he would no longer be working for them during breaks (he's a teacher). They kept putting him on the schedule and then called him one day when he didn't show up!! He told them that he requested he no longer be scheduled...I think it took one or two more breaks before they got it straight!! LOL
