Survivor: Guatamala, the Mayan Empire
That looks like it will be VERY interesting... I am afraid that production might in some way damage the ruins.
Thoughts? |
Same Survivor, more interesting ruins.

The cast was announced today. Here's the website.
One thing I noticed is that at least three of them are identical twins. I wonder if there will be a twin twist a la last year's Big Brother this season. |
Got this info from SurvivorFever
Blake Towsley Tribe: Nakum - Yellow Tribe Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity President of SMU's IFC (Interfraternity Council) Link Morgan McDevitt Tribe: Yaxha - Blue Buffs Upsilon chapter of the Alpha Chi Omega sorority, at Millikin University, in Decatur, Illinois. Link Also on that site, you can find out who the two returning Survivors are. Personally, I am glad that at least one of them is getting a second chance to win the game. |

I'm soooo glad Stephenie is back! She's my fav!! Bobby Jon's cool too, but she's def better in my eyes. Tonight was intense too. I mean, not so much for the viewers, but just what they had to do in general... craziness!

You knew it had to be Jim that was going when he showed up at tribal council wearing a sling.
But what was he thinking when he voted?! Let's see, four of the guys are injured/flat on their backs/throwing up/dehydrated/whatever. The one person who gets them through is Margaret the nurse practitioner. And that's who Jim wanted to vote off? Sure, he probably knew he was toast, but he might as well as have voted for one of the other sickies just in case some others did as well. Instead, he votes for the one person that they could not have gotten through the first two challenges without. I thought he seemed pretty smart until that move -- definitely not up to survival of the fittest. |

Meanwhile, Margaret, the current MVP, now has a vote that she'll carry into future tribal councils. Granted, that may have some merit -- by showing leadership so early (however reluctantly), she may be marking herself as a target later. But the reality is that they wouldn't have functioned without her so far. If he really was trying to ensure he was voted off, he should have voted for one of the other women whom no one would have had any reason to vote for, not for the one woman who was busy keeping the team on its feet as best she could. I just don't think it made any sense at all. ETA: In an interview on Reality News Online, here is what Jim had to say about voting for Margaret: The thing with Margaret was that I couldn’t abstain and I couldn’t vote for myself so I wanted to vote for someone randomly and unfortunately she was the one that I chose out of the group. She was one of the strongest players and would be a tough competitor and if I remained would be tough competition. While I think his last point may have had some validity, on the other hand, if he had remained I would think he would have still needed a nurse around. Get everyone well, make some alliances, and then get her off. |
I really did not want to get addicted to this show...again but I watched it anyway and will be rooting for Stephanie again. She absolutely rocks!
|
Was it just me, or did Danni look like she had a mustache during tribal council? Also, I can see that Morgan is going to wear on me very quickly.
|
Missed it!! Darn, I really wanted to see it -- oh well. Guess I will see it next week
|
My TV section says the next show is called "Man Down", so I expect the sick guy is going home.

Anyone following Survivor this time around? What are your thoughts on the final show of the season tonight...Lydia, Rafe, Danni, and Stephani are left...who will win?
|
I've been watching religiously, and I was pleased with the outcome.
