This might be in the wrong fourm, if it is, I'm sorry.

I don't know how many of you now what has gone on between myself and my chapter this semester. Most of the story, or whatever I feel is okay to post on a public message board, can be found in the Sigma Delta Tau fourm, but to make the past few months short, I more or less dropped everything (including my postion as president) because of a lot of the drama, backstabbing, and other issuses that were going on.

I became very disheartened by Greek Life in general because of all of this, which is one of the reasons I barely posted on here. I have ot been around my chapter since the middle of April, almost a month. I was starting to see why so many people are anti-Greek.

And then I come on here, and I read some of the posts on here, for example the post about the Delta Gamma sister, or Joyclen's post about the disabled in the Kent's Greek system, and it reminds me why I wanted to go Greek even after a bad expirence with a local my first semster. Some of my sisters that I have never met in person, but I've met on here, mean more to me then some of my sisters from my chapter.

Greekchat has been the one thing that has been there for me throughout all of this, and has reminded me that Greek life has it's postivites.

I just want to thank everyone for beign a part of Greekchat and for showing me that Greek Life has it's benefits, no matter how rough of a semster I've had with my chapter.

As they say, no matter what the letter, we're all Greeks together. Sorry that you had to wade through the sewage, but I'm glad that you got some help here!

Hey hunny. I feel your pain. All it takes is a few bad apples in a chapter to turn people off completely. I've been there, I know what you are saying completely. I think that the fact you can see the bigger picture and understand that Greek life goes beyond a few girls you don't like in your chapter speaks volumes. Hang in there!!!

Hey hun, I know about all the sh*t you've been going through this semester and I just wanna say that good luck and I'm here for you if you need anything. You've really helped me out when I had problems, and I'm here for you.
