Multicultural Kiddie Shows
 

You know you watch them, don't lie!

What do you all think of the new efforts to provide multicultural shows for children? We all know how big Dora has blown up. Do you think there should be more? Do you think kids are getting the real multicultural message or is it just a show?

Other shows that I know of:

Maya and Miguel
Dora
Backyardigans (yes they're animals, but look at their names lol)
Little Bill

Good question. I personally love Little Bill. I also like how Dora and some of the characters on Dragon Tales speak Spanish. I think It's important for kids to see characters that look like/speak like them. Of course there could always been more but it seems like there's a lot more than when I was coming up.

I think it's great that kids are learning new languages. :)
