Alumni On The West Coast
 

Hey ladies,

one of my chapter sisters has had to move back home and will be attending U.B.C. in teh fall. She is interesting in opening a Phi Sig chapter there, aside from finding out if her campus is open for expansion, what else can she do to get the ball rolling? Are there any alumni out that way who could get in contact with her and help?

Since there is not currently an alumnae chapter in that area her best bet would be to request a strip list from HQ. The list will give her contact info for women in area. If there is not enough of an alum base to make expansion feasible she would at least be on her way to forming an alumnae interest group/chapter.

I believe it is the University of British Columbia. There was a GC member on here a couple years ago that had pm'd me about Phi Sig and trying to extend there. She got in contact with UBC and our HQ about starting a chapter there but UBC wasn't too receptive at the time.
