ZTA fundraiser idea
 

HEllo ZTAs! Gamma Phi Beta sister here with a fabulous fundraiser. It just hit me, so i felt the need to pass it on before it flies out of my head.

You know how on Labor Day weekend the firefighters do "Fill the Boot?" I think ZTAs across the US can do a "Fill the Boob", where you get big bras and do the same thing for a donation to a breast cancer charity. I just passed it to my closest ZTA friend, and I hope the idea will catch on. If it's not an original idea, I apologize :)

ETA: you can get the bras from a thrift shop to cut expenses :)

That is a new one for me....I wonder how it would "go over" so to speak...

I did see a great idea on a website. I have been watching "Starting Over" on TV. There is a woman named Allison who is trying to rebuild her life after being diagnosed and treated for breast cancer. She is from Charlotte, NC. Apparently they just had a "Laugh for the Cure" that raised over $25,000 (if I remember correctly). I think that would be a great fundraising idea, especially if you have a popular comedy club in town...

So maybe "Fill the Boob" isn't the best name for it. I think maybe a better idea for a title or name for the idea is "Help ZTA 'support' breast cancer research". Get it? Support? :D

I hope it wouldn't be a "bust."

I'll certainly keep this board 'abreast' of the situation. :D
