This is Holly, from the UConn Alumni Chapter...I only just recently have had the time to check new developments, unfortunately, the rest of "real life" has been really busy! Has anyone from the group been in contact with anyone else? Please let me know what is going on, I'd love to hear!

I just found out which SOS group was which. I sent an email out to all, and then to my surprise there was a topic started here. Group #9 already has a nickname... any ideas for one of us?

Have you started finals yet? The end of the school year is always a hectic time of year. If you have questions about the officer reports, Holly and I may be able to help. We're both past officers of the Eta chapter.

Time to start sharing
 

Hey ladies-

We had a great time at Convention, and the ladies in attendance from this group had the opportunity to meet and chat about good times and bad in their chapters. So I'm kicking off a sharing thread. If something's bothering you or you're excited about something, please share it with us. I look forward from hearing from all of you.

Glad to know you had a good time at the Convention! Wish I coulda gone, but oh, well! Next year I'll get there:)

Anyway, Robin asked for good news, so I'll share something...all of those in the UConn Alum chapter know...my husband & I are in the process of buying our first house! It's a gorgeous Cape Cod on a half acre lot in a really good section of town, and did we get a great deal too! We're trying to work it so that we are in before the Holidays.

Everything is going great here for the Sigma Chapter. We just held elections monday night. We only elected for a semester to transition over to an April to April term. All of our current MC's passed their finals also. I know at convention we discussed having everyone get chapter e-mail addresses that way someone is always checking it. One chapter was going to do this for sure and get back to us on the address. We still haven't heard from them however. We would like to get this going, so get back to us soon.

Any ideas to get more involvement from the other active chapters in our group? Maybe we should start a discussion list, so emails go out to everyone interested in the chapters. Just a thought. It seems that Holly, you and me are the only ones visiting this site. If we started an email distribution, we could maybe focus on one important topic a month- recruitment, communication within the chapter, keeping the motivation up, prof. development, etc. What do you ladies think??
