Sponsors are not FREE CANDY!

Hotep Brothers. Brothers, let us embark upon revering our beloved fraternity by stressing sponsorship to be not like free candy tossed at a parade. Brothers who "sponsor" should be tasked to take this matter seriously. I bear witness that I have observed recently a disturbing trend of brothers simply agreeing to sponsor someone who they have known only for two/ three days! This is SICK! Am I alone in thought?

Will you sponsor me?

-Rudey

Rudey, why do you want to start sh*t?

Re: Rudey's Sponsor request

Hotep Brothers. Rudey, with all due respect to Ladygreek stating her willingness to "sponsor" you I will refrain from stating that I will do so w/out but a few requirements. FIRST, if you are to have me sign my name on a sponsor form and prove that I am financial I will have a number of requirements that you are going to have to meet. You are going to also sign a declaration statement stating your willingness to join the "Century" club is strictly voluntary. Secondly, you will need to prepare to attend to my lawn as I have nearly two acres of fenced backyard which I operate my kennel. You will need to prepare to be on "waste detail" for a few weeks too, because my boxers love to fertilize my backyard. Of course this deed too shall be voluntary. Thirdly, you will need to know that a "brother" does not live on water alone. I will need to be fed some "barn-yard pimp" from Popeyes at least three times weekly. Of course this too will be a deed that you will need to volunteer for. Lastly, I will need to know that you are not a "FLAMING TART" and I will surely have this matter investigated by "kites" sent out amongst my brothers of my circle who you will surely meet and "volunteer" various favors for (ie. wives, girlfriends being delivered roses, etc.). After at least six months of "prep" time will I consider sponsoring you. If you are still interested in having me sponsor you we can discuss this more in detail over "open wood." If you so choose to obtain sponsorship elsewhere I will surely understand.

P.S I am Risk Management Certified too.
