Quarterly
Does anyone know when the next issue comes out?
|
It's on the website now. I got my copy today. I'm pretty sure it's an advance copy because I contributed to the Diabetes article.
Also it features the Chapter Advisor of the chapter I'm Finance Advisor for. |
I got mine yesterday!

As usual I'll be one of the last to get my issue.
Yay for my newest Delta Sigma sisters for their beautiful Feast of Roses picture in the Chapter Reports section! Duke's Waikiki is by far my most favorite AGD event spot! |
Got mine today!! Glad to see GTau made it even though we missed the deadline, lol.
Boy, did I learn how strong the bonds of sisterhood are!!! Harriett Fox Garrett - because of her generosity, 79 scholarships have been awarded. "In her memory, a luncheon was held on Sunday, February 27th at the Santa Ana Country Club in Costa Mesa. This memorial was hosted by Harriett". Wish I had been there!! ;) |
Got mine yesterday too! :)

Mine came in the mail day before yesterday. I really enjoyed reading the article on diabetes, and I was also touched by the fact that they dedicated it to all Alpha Gamma Deltas who have had their lives touched by diabetes.
Sisters, please take care of yourselves. Type II Diabetes is a lifestyle disease that can often be prevented. Sean had complications from his diabetes in April and he ended up in the CICU for the better part of a week. It was one of the most frightening experiences of my entire life. I wouldn't wish diabetes on my worst enemy. |
Quarterly Wins Three Industry Awards
FROM IHQ SITE
Congratulations to the Alpha Gamma Delta Quarterly staff for receiving a second place award for cover design from the College Fraternity Editors Association (CFEA) and North American Interfraternal Foundation. The award, for the Summer 2004 Convention cover, was presented during the CFEA annual conference in May 2005. The Quarterly was also recognized for its excellence in writing and design by receiving Honorable Mention for Best News Feature Article and Honorable Mention for Best Feature Layout for the Winter 2005 article “Meet the Millennials: A New Generation of Alpha Gams.” Only six magazine writing and five magazine design awards are given at this Conference. Kudos to the Quarterly staff—Mary Kay Price, Communications Coordinator, LiaAnn Vang, former Graphics/Web Coordinator, Tara Rollo, Graphics/Web Coordinator, and Jeanne Henning, Director of Communications—for their great work! |
Got mine!!
I LOVE THE SQUIRREL GAME GRAPHICS!!!! They are soooo cute!!!
Wish they would put them on the IHQ site so we could put them into our clipart folders;) Also very impressive to read the list of Foundation donors! Maybe I can make it to the next level before next summer. And boy, accomplished sisters!!!! |
I want to know how Lynn rates to get hers so early? I got mine today and read it cover to cover. I love the Quarterly.

Fall 2005
This is the most amazing issue EVER. I love the section on the archives. Imagine my surprise when I see, on page 12, a sister from my alumnae club who has also been a ZA advisor! She's the Director of Volunteer Services for the Super Bowl.
The quality of this issue is simply superb. Dee |
