Tattoo Graphics
Hey, my brothers......
After several years on Active Duty with the Army, I never got a tattoo. Never found a design I liked, not enough detail. I live on an Army base because my wife is now on Active Duty (called up for 3-8 due to the war). For our 21st anniversary, she gave me a "coupon" (read permission" to get a tattoo. I am looking for Beta graphics that might be good to ink on my shoulder. I found one that has anice dragon holding the crest. It is cool in that the dragon is also the Army Chemical Corps symbol. Please send me links. In ~kai~, Ed |
Try google.com, search "beta theta pi" on the images section. I have found a few I love. I want to get another Beta tattoo. I have two of them, good stuff. See these pics for ideas (dragons):

Yeah, there really arent that many GOOD beta graphics on the web, that kind of sucks...

I've been looking for the same kind of graphic... I think I'll ask a few of my Art major brothers to whip us something up.

Ive decided im going to get one. Simple and Classy: Three stars. However, Im conflicted. Do I get it on my right wrist, my back, or my ankle.
I think the back would look the best, but if I get a tatoo I want to be able to see it, especially the three stars as a reminder, which is why the wrist is cool. However it seems really emo and hard to cover up. Ankle is my least favorite but it might be the best choice. I dont know, what do you think? |
Bros., I have two tattoos. One on my upper Left bicep/shoulder, and one on my back right shoulder. Both are dragons with letters. Neither of them can be seen unless I am without my shirt - which is great.
I suggest putting them somewhere they cannot be seen when you are dressed normally/typically. For the three stars, I personally think they would look awesome 'over your hear', or the same place you'd wear your badge. Better yet, a tattoo of our badge over your heart would be awesome. I might have to call on that one... Let us know what you do. -kai- |
EWW, I like it.

first time poster, never even knew this thing existed...
anyways, i'm trying to get a Beta tat as well. I personally want a pissed off dragon on my shoulder blade, and have the letters, my chapter and roll number on there, I just haven't found any cool dragon pics on the internet. Getting a tat of the badge would be cool, but remember that when partying, you wouldn't want your badge on you lol. Yeah we should practice "Earn your badge everyday" but you gotta have some fun every now and again. Just some food for thought ~kai~ till i die |
UCF Beta - welcome to GC, stick around - we always need 'a few good men'.

I just went through with it http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b6...n/P1010006.jpg |
One of my brothers (and best friend) was up in Oxford last summer for Institute. While there, he got three huge stars inked under his left arm between his shoulder and his elbow. Said it hurt like hell. But, they're cool.
Most of chapter uses the stylized dragon, chapter, and roll number on their back (shoulder blade region). I haven't decided what I want yet. |
Nice tat bro. If I can pic. mine and post them, I will.

Ballin' Out of Control
If you're looking for a really classy tattoo, you should get the pony inked up on your left pectoral. At that point, you'd pretty much reach the apex of frat.

Don't get a tattoo on a part of your body you can't hide. Businesses do not like to see that, especially (sp?) if you are dealing with other companies and trying to set a good public image. Hell even the Marines don't like them if you can see them sticking out of your uniform.
With that said, a couple of our brothers have Beta tattoos. One has the dragon and three stars inside of it and one has a dragon that is guarding a diamond. #111 ~kai~ |
