How mcuh is too much?
 

My question is I am a future transfer student @ a university in Nevada in the Summer.I have researched the organization AKA through internet ,news and through friends of mine whom have said great things about the organization.My future school has a local undergradute AKA Chapter so I took the time to email the president about future community service events or about membership inquiries but never got a response. I waited a week and thought I try to contact someone else within the chapter so,I contacted the number on their website which was their treasurer and left a voicemail, but never recieved a call back waited a few weeks.I then contacted the graduate advisor a few weeks later, but never recieved a response. So My question showing too much intrest or am I diggin a hole for myself as appearing desperate by contacting some of the members?Additionally, how were some of the ways you showed interest to an organization?
