I am currently going through the AI process and so far the alumni sorority members have been wonderful. My sponsor is really nice and helpful but she has somewhat of a standoffish attitude to me. I don't know if that is just her or if she doesn't like me. Before we met we were emailing constantly, now she doesn't get back to my emails as often. I understand she must be busy but it is driving me crazy. I don't think she would sponsor me or even help me through the process if she didn't like me right? Has any AI's out there ever felt this way?

well, I would give her the benefit of the doubt. It may just be her manner. I wouldn't worry too much since the other members have been accepting. I know it's frustrating when things slow down, and they do tend to do so this time of year. Good luck!

There could also be something going on in her life at this time that has nothing to do with the sorority.

I know for myself I am not as quick with returning emails as I was a few months ago and it's mostly because I just don't check email as much during the day and after a long day I have gotten to forcing myself not to turn on my computer at home.

So it could have nothing whatsoever to do with you.........
