I'm soooo excited!! :)
 

My boyfriend (of three years) has been interviewing like CRAZY this past few months. He has been gone every weekend for like 6 weekends interviewing!! It's a very exciting time for him as he is finishing up grad school and about to enter the working world! Well he's gotten an offer at EVERY place he has interviewed (these companies include Boeing, Northrup-Gruman, Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory, etc.)!!! I'm sooooo proud of him! He's 99% sure that he's going to accept a position with the Department of Defense. He'd have to move to Maryland...but not for 6 months or so (to get all the security paperwork and tests done). I'd follow him 6 months or so after he goes (he wants to get established and settled...). I'm just really excited!! I'm so happy for him! :-)

ME TOO!!!!! Well maybe after that "6-month establishment period" we'll be waiting to hear about that diamond!

Congrats to Chris~! Thats so great to hear! Keep us updated on what he decides!

If he ends up working for the DOD you should join our military DGs website! I think you may get military benefits too!

Yeah, I didn't want to dissapoint ya'll...I thought some of you might think he popped the question. We are in no hurry, though, with all of this "future" thinking, I think he has given a lot more consideration to it. He wants to be established in a job first...so I suspect after I move to join him, it won't be far away. :-) I'm excited about that thought too!

Haha, moving forward with the DOD job...he's accepted the conditional offer and has to go back up to Maryland in a few weeks for a polygraph test and psych evaluation! He got a call today from the Private Investigator that will be working on his background check. He's coming over on Thursday...I just think it's all so funny!! The PI also asked when his neighbors and mother would be home (in Charlotte)...hehehe

It's just all exciting.

Yippy!! I'm so excited! They rushed everything and he got the official offer!!!! He is going to accept it and they want him to start work on October 31st!! So he's rushing to finish up his thesis and defend it and then he'll be working on moving!!! Eeeek! I'm soooooo excited for him and proud of him!

He has his dream job that happens to be super cool (but I can't tell you what it is, or I'd have to kill you). ;) I'm just so proud!! :D
