Local Merchandise
i know its easy to find pins and other merchandise for national sororities and frats, but where can we go to find merchandise like pins for our new local sorority? (we don't have any other greek on campus, so we can't ask any one else for advice.) Any suggustions are appreicated, thanks.

My local gets our pins from Masters of Design. We've been around for 25 years now, so I don't know anything about making new pins, we just always order new ones from there. You should contact them about making ones for you. There's going to be a set up fee. I don't know how much. Good luck.

It depends on if you want a jeweled pin or just an enamel pin. We have a jeweled badge (which we get from Masters of Design) and an alternate badge which is enamel.
Jeweled badges cost a pretty penny and you may have to pay an additional fee for MoD to create the mold. Your best bet may be to go for an enamel pin. Check out pincrafters.com, the are good for custom orders and the sales people are very friendly and helpful. |
You have a jeweled pin? Wow I'm jealous. Do you think you could post a picture of your badge online. I'm intrigued. Ours is just enamel raised on a gold clad shield.

I couldn't find a good picture of our badge off-hand but here is a poor quality one:
Picture of Badge The badge is a gold triangle with 5 pearls on each side and an emerald at each vertex. The center is a black raised enamel triangle with our letters written in gold. |
We had ours done by Terryberry.com They aren't fancy with jewels or pearls on them..but they are they are our sheild with our letters, a key, and a small rose on it.
but if your org is looking to have a pin done terryberry is a good place to check out. because they have decent prices. *graceanne* |
