IDEAS IDEAS IDEAS!!!!!!!
 

Hey!!!!! I know we have the National Chapter Guide for ideas but I was just wondering if anybody had any good ideas just off the top of their heads. You know...ideas for professional development, sisterhood, academics, speaker ideas, philanthropy projects, and fundraisers.

I'm also looking for really cute ideas to incorporate into our Founder's Day Banquet. I already have some ideas but I'm always open to new ideas and suggestions!!!

I know we have SOS groups now but I still want to keep up the contacts with the chapters outside of my group!!

here's some things off the top of my head and from experience. Philanthropy: a good one would be working as literacy volunteers, or running an afterschool program - crafts or sports for kids. That builds people skills and group dynamics that are valued in the workplace, and you're helping people, too! Fundraisers - maybe candy-grams or count the # of jellybeans (for easter). For an activity among sisters My Big Sis and I taught everyone to decoupage (you can make picture frames, etc..). Everyone loved it and they're doing it this year, too. For Founders Day, maybe have everyone paint a flower pot in Emerald/Maize, etc. and have small chrysanthemum plants for for them to plant and take home as a keepsake.

Just some thought, it's late so forgive me if they're silly!
