little sisters
 

I am just curious as to how other chapter go about seting up big and little sisters. Do you let your active member choose who they want, or do you go on who the rushes want? Any replies would be appreciated.

I believe what the Alpha Theta Chapter does is:Each sister that is eligible for a lil sis picks her top 3 choises and the 2nd VP tries to give everyone their 1st choice -- but those sisters that will be graduating soon have higher rank. And if the 1st choices are taken then we go to the 2nd etc Hope this helps!!

I am from the university of georgia's chapter and what we do is we let the rushees pick their top 3 picks and then the girls who don't have a little sister from the class right before them get to pick 3 girls and then the 2nd vp tries to match them up. It works out great

The Alpha Zeta Chapter has each new member and old member who isn't graduating or going inactive write their top 3 picks. The new members and old members who match are put together. After that the new member gets their pick. Our 2nd V.P. tries to please everyone!
