In House Activities
 

For those who are from or who have some experience with a housed chapter, do you have any great activities designed specifically for in house members to have fun and bond?


I am talking about activities like:

Secret Sister
Assassin
Floor or Wing competitions
Hiding an item (example - a large stuffed M&M with arms and legs) around the house to find then be hidden again and again. When the item is in your room, it has to be partially visible. Whoever has it in their room when the game is over receives a prize.
Weekly Movie Night w/ popcorn*
Gatherings for certain TV shows or specials*
Themed meals - i.e. Tuesday Mexican Lunch*

Does anyone else have ideas that have worked? Or made one of the ideas above really work for your chapter?

At the Berkeley DG chapter they do a weekly popcorn night for the OC and used to for Sex and the City too.

They do a fun sisterhood night for the oscars where they have snacks but they also fill out a sheet ahead of time on who will win each category and the person with the best score overall gets a (small) prize.

We encourage all the members to come though, not just the ones that live in.

Co-sign. I understand that the idea is bonding for those who live in, but by all means not only invite but be sure to encourage *all members* to participate.
