So Star magazine (so not reliable) and People magazine (a bit more reliable) are reporting that Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are engaged. This is according to Yahoo news. Here is the link:

Anyone care to start the "wager" on how long they will stay together?

I think this bennifer II has a better chance of surviving, but who knows. And perhaps it is just me, but Jennifer Garner bugs the sh*t out of me. Maybe it is just her squeaky voice and overly-bubbly personality during interviews--she comes off as more 13 than 30.

I love Jennifer Garner, but there is something about Ben Affleck that creeps me out. I don't what it is, but I find him repulsive.

I read about the engagement in the paper last night--I didn't even know they were dating! :p

mini-hijack to answer question:

No, Jen's character in Pearl Harbor doesn't die. James King's character, Betty, was the one who died. Jen and Kate's characters were the ones who saw her body (when a guy brought it up saying he thought she was dead) and the women cried. Jen's character, Sandra, then says "I don't know what to do" (can you tell I've seen Pearl Harbor way to many times :D)

I hate jennifer garner... She's not that cute, not that smart (at least how she comes off in interviews written and taped), and not that good an actress.

Micheal Vartan (sp?) is better off without her, and Ben Affleck deserves her (I dislike his acting too.)

She's from here in WV. It seriously made headline news here. It beat out several meth lab busts and a murder.
