Fraternities and sororities play around for a good cause

Greek Week kicked off Sunday with an evening of picnic food, a band and several competitive games around the grounds.

Fund raising by the 19 fraternities and 11 sororities will go to benefit the week's designated charity, the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Fraternities and sororities have chosen two area children to receive the funds, 12-year-old Ryan and 5-year-old Emily, who are both living with leukemia.

The fraternities and sororities are expected to hold separate fund-raisers to contribute to the week's $11,000 goal for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
