I have been watching this forum for a while now and ever since Gamma got involved there has been alot more conflict. I make this a personal statement to you Gamma. Accept that others have a different opinion than you. Do not make everything person,al or about your Zeta. IHQ is not entirely good nor evil. Accept these things and start making this board fun to be involved in or stop posting in it.

The funny thing is, I have accepted everyone's opinion and respected it. However, sadly I have not been shown the same respect. I was attacked because I gave Jeff my opinion.

This reminds me of alot of political groups that stand up for free speech EXCEPT for those that disagree with them.

I give my opinion from my experiences and knowledge. People may not like it. But I am entitled to it since I am a brother, like it or not. No one forces you to read what I write.

I've never made anything personal. Me and my chapter brothers were attacked because I simply made a suggestion to Jeff. All I do is try to give advice and suggestions.

There has been alot more conflict because I tell the truth. People don't like to hear the truth, but I feel that by telling what I know and believe in, it will make the fraternity better.

So, when is everyone else going to "accept" my different opinions just because I don't agree with everything people say?

No you do not tell the "truth", you present an opinion or perception of what you see of the Fraternity - just as I, or any of the other Brothers on this site do.... that being said none of the other Brothers here have taken their experiences within a chapter to launch on an attack of the General Fraternity, or as an inidication into the motives and operations of other chapters. Try to expand your view of the Fraternity to include more than just the world of your initiating chapter...

Finally your purile attacks on lifesaver because of his political beliefs is pathetic - so he doesn't like or support Bush... big deal neither does most of the world (most definitely including myself - can't wait until he's gone). To attack lifesavers patriotism... well perhaps you'd do best to read and contemplate my sig.

HELLO! I'm in Massachusetts! Home of John Kerry! I don't give a flying crap about Bush or any president people support. That's not what this forum is for.

But remember, I never even mentioned Lifesaver until he started saying lies about my chapter. I didn't start anything with him. I joined this forum to correct the misconceptions that people had of GZ and fix the outright lies being told. Unfortunately, no one even bothered to listen.

I base my perception and experiences on actual occurences and happenings with all aspects of LXA. They all come from true experiences.

I presented two possible scenarios about Jeff's chapter. Would you care to add any? Believe it or not, both of them are plausible. From what Jeff has said, I gave my opinion on which I thought was more plausible. Then I got attacked.

My big was attacked, who is serving in the military for ALL of us. I'll stick up for him because he sure as hell always stood by me.

I'm sorry but I didn't see Lifesaver attacking your Big...

I saw you attacking him as being "anti-patriotic" - for reasons that I could only assume had to do with his political feelings about Bush... because I've never seen him disparage his country...

Lastly I have to take exception to the statement that he is serving for 'ALL' of us... he is serving for our American Brothers... not 'ALL' of the Brothers. (sorry it just grates me to have people always thinking in an American-centric way with regards to the Fraternity - and a couple of other things).

Yeah, he mentioned him in the Jeff post.

My big bro is serving for ALL brothers, even you RA.

He is over there fighting for freedom, not just the U.S.A. And Cananda, as a freedom loving nation, is a beneficiary of that fight.

And I'm sure LXA is a freedom loving fraternity.

One: please have the courtesy to spell my country correctly...

Two: please lay off the tired "freedom" rhetoric... I get enough of that crap watching the Pentagon briefings, Whitehouse press briefings, and from FOXNews.....

I just want to say that this board is starting to remind me of my chapter, lately. We are all brothers. We have gone thought the same ritual if i remember correctly. I dont like us brothers fighting, whether it is in my Zeta or between the Zetas, and i am not one that would ever disrespect a brother but this fighting or what ever is going on bc one person has a difference of opinion from other is just wrong. The last line of our creed says it all: May we have pure hearts that we may approach the ideal of perfect brotherly love. We just need to put away our petty difference away and remember that brothers whether AM, Actives, or Alunmi are all the same we have to be there for them and not pick fights with them. I have talk to Jeff a little bit and he told me then and has posted that he will stick with it, which is good bc i will make a great addition to the brotherhood.

And to Gamma and lifesaver, dont take this as an attack on you guys or what ever but please stop fighting bc to anyone not in the bond would look at these posts and might say that a we do is Fight. And we all know that is not true.

Lets just remember that we are all brothers.

A disagreement is fine, but dirty laundry so to speak on a public web site is not.

Each opinion is fine and I do not delete very often as each of us has His Say in all of the peramiters. BUT, when it gets over board, then We Have A Problem.
