Mothers Day gift Help!
 

Mothers Day is May 8th ( I just found out too, I'm flipping out about it).
My grandmother died suddenly in September from a severe stroke and this will be my Mom's first Mother's Day without her mom or any parent for that matter, and she lost her sister several years ago suddenly to a rare heart problem. I'm at a complete loss for what to do for my mom on what I know is going to be a VERY difficult day for her.
Does anyone have any suggestions????? Please!

my mom is going through the same thing right now, and taking it hard. as a fellow sdt, i'm doing the sdt-jwi mother's day flower project for my mom. i think it'll be touching for her. hope that helps.

My mom has also been through this challenging time....
I made her a scrapbook and had an object in my church named for my grandmother.
I gave my godmother a hand-made "mourning" necklace with beads that sybolized the life of my godfather when he passed away...

I think a scrapbook or picture frame would be a great idea. If you would have some nice pictures of your mom and grandmother together, or one with the three of you. Also maybe a really nice poem or something.
