Chi Omega Closing Lehigh Chapter
Sadly, declining numbers have led to the decision to close the Chi Omega chapter at Lehigh. See the student paper's article:

That is unfortunate, that news suprised me since I knew they just colonized at Lehigh back in 2000. A classmate of mine from high school was elected their first president. Through the grape vine I had heard they were having some problems back then and it's sad to hear that those problems probably lead to their chapter closing.

how sad...
i'm sorry for them because i am sure they worked hard to try to make it work. |
It's always sad to hear about a chapter going dormant especially when the ladies tried so hard but were unable to meet quota.
|
Am I off my nut or did this chapter start up soon after another sorority closed at Lehigh?
(Or maybe I'm thinking of Lafayette. Or Bucknell. Or Dickinson.) |

i so sorry to hear of this closing. i was however impressed with the professional reporting in the article. it is nice to see an unbiased(read anti-greek) article about greeks.

When we had IMPACT Alpha Chi earlier this year, the facilitators were from Lehigh. We told them that XO had such a great chapter at our campus, and they said that XO really struggled at Lehigh. They were worried about a possible closing. I hate that for the women of XO.
