I wanted to find out if any of the other chapters out there have another song besides the SigEp Sweetheart song that they use to serinade sororities with. If you do I would really like to hear about it. Cheers

I am not Sig Ep, I'm a Sigma Sigma Sigma. Our chapter (Beta Xi) has a WONDERFUL relationship with your brothers at Missouri Zeta, Southeast MO State. When their Spring Class serenaded us right before their Epsilon weekend, they gave the best show we've ever gotten! They used this song, and it was the first time I'd ever heard it. (They serenade our house quite a bit-we have 3 ladies lavaliered... http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/wink.gif ) I don't know if it is your "sweetheart song" or not, but it is so darn cute (and well recieved by our ladies!) that I'll share it with you anyhoo. (You may or may not be disturbed because I know the words so well-my best sister-friend is one of the lavaliered ones and we looked this up on Napster back in the day...) Bear with me-I'm sorry it's so long!

The Sig Ep's have serenaded us a few times and the one song I always get a quick out of is the Bungalo song. I suppose it's something they made up but it talks about their little bungalo in a far off place with the girl of their dreams...and how they have lots of kids...lol. It's so cute. I wish I knew the words.

I know parts of the Bamboo Bungalow song...my hubby serenaded us with that! Its adorable! Goes something like this:
"I'll build a bamboo bungalow for you/room enough for one/but big enough for two/Then we'll be merry/Happy as can be/In our bamboo bungalow for two/Or three or four or maybe more/So let your conscience be your guide/Between your chair and my chair/Will be a little high chair and we'll call him a Sig Ep kid"

I love that song! Reminds me of my college days. Sigh!

Im a brother from FIU (miami) Fl Nu chapter. Look in the back of your LROB there should be several songs u can sing to girls...they go crazy over them. If u want to have a little fun you can have the pledges...uhm...ah...(clears throat)..."sigmas" make up a song to sing to your favorite sorority. as far as songs u can sing to girls :

Wonderful SigEp Girl
College Man
and some other in the back of your LROB.

on the Kansas Eta website there is a link to download almost every SigEp song i know...check that out when u get the chance...u can get there through the national website

we do: The Sig Ep Anthem, Drink Beer, Sweetheart Song, and There are no Sig Ep Brothers down in Hell.


Im a Illinois Zeta, but if you go to Iowa States site they have the songs on Winamp that you can download.

how about some lyrics for that no brothers in hell song?? i'd be interested in seeing how that one goes. also, when we are all drunk, we have a song titled "little yellow bird" that just flows into drink beer. if anyone is interested in will post it or e-mail it to you. just ask, ryan_cruz@hotmail.com
