Does anyone read/speak arabic???
My hubbie has a small paper for one of his finance classes that he has to do. he had to pick a foreign currency and then explain all the symbols on it. (kinda like the eye on the back of the US dollar stands for stuff). well, he picked the old iraqi dinar (the one with sadam's pic on it)
anywhos, he can't seem to find online what the words say. if anyone can read arabic, could you please let us know what the bill says. TIA shop.vendio.com/technologyoncall/item/571470949/ |
I know someone on another board, but she's in class right now. I'll ask her when I "see" her.

Here's what she said:
well at the top right in that purple rectangle it says "central bank of iraq" then under that it says "250 dinars" and the smaller font sentence under that, i cant get all of it because its all squashed together but i got this "bank note produced ............. the law". then theres a signature then the small word over the numbers i can read but i ahve no idea what it means then the numbers say 2002 and 1422 (the arabic yr) and the three big numbers are 250! hope that helped. |
thanks sooo much!!! definitely a big help!
