Georgia Southern Chapter
Ladies of Kappa Kappa Gamma- i wish to inform all of our lovely sisters in kappa that a major decision was made tonite. The Kappa chapter here at Georgia Southern is under reestablishment. which means that the chapter is folding. our charter will still be here- but all of my wonderful sisters will become alum as per requested. We have struggled thru the years to maintain all of the necessairy things needed for a successful chapter. We have had many bad times, yet, i can count more good times than the bad. i am asking all of our sisters out there to please keep the 35 members here at southern in your prayers. We are a small group- but accomplished many things. Please keep us in your prayers- thank you for all of your support.

:( My daughter had many Kappa friends there; their house was next to hers. I know she'll be very sad to hear about this.
Monmouth love to you all-- |
Emily,
I am so sorry to hear about this! I know that you all have worked so hard and it must be extremely difficult to be in this situation. You are in my thoughts and prayers and I know that the bonds of sisterhood will be with you during this hard time as well as for the rest of your lives. :) Loyally, Steph Eta Alpha |
Emily, what sad news! Like Steph said, the bonds of your sisterhood will last forever.

Sorry to crash your board ladies:
Since I sort of "know" you (lol, if you want to say that), I just wanted to offer my condolences to you and your chapter. Remember that your active chapter is just a part of your life as a Kappa and your bonds will never fade away. Greek Love, Jocelyn |
As an ADPi alum of Georgia Southern, I am so sorry to hear your news. I rode down the Greek row a few weeks ago when I was taking my daughter to visit Southern, and I thought the Kappa house was lovely. I applaud you for your efforts during what I'm sure has been a difficult time, and I agree with the other statements made-that you can still enjoy your Kappa benefits and sisterhood for a lifetime.

I am so sorry to hear about this. I advised AOII at GSU for a number of years and always tried to encourage the women to do what they could to help. My collegiate chapter was in a similar situation to yours and closed the fall after I graduated, so I know that this is a tough thing to go through.
