computer help please
 

I'm going nuts b/c my computer is being silly.

Last Tuesday, my computer worked fine. I went home and returned this Monday afternoon to find that my computer has gone besserk.

I have Windows XP Home, and the only profile I had at the time was my own.

When I tried logging into my computer, it would take forever to "load my settings" after I entered my password. When the desktop finally came up, it was not the desktop I had before. Furthermore, I got a message saying that my profile was in accessible. (It gave the whole C:\.... address of my profile).

I tried using the system restore to restore it to a day before last Tuesday, but that didn't work, so I undid the system restore thing.

I can't access any of my documents or my programs using my profile.

My friend ran one of those hard-disk tests and everything came out fine. Then she created a new profile, and like magic everything there seemed to work (except that I have to reload my software for the new profile). I still can't reach my documents on my original profile. Is there any way to move the documents I had to my new profile?

Please help :(
