Epsilon Lambda Chapter Wants to build a House
 

EL chapter at University of Alabama in Huntsville would like to build a house. They are currently raising money for the house.

If I'm correct, the KD house there will be part of a Greek row that they're planning on building. Are they looking to bring a 3rd NPC back to Huntsville, and if so are they planning to build a 3rd sorority house?

That I don't know. I am not sure that they will bring a 3rd NPC to UAH... As for Greek Row, yes, at the moment all greeks are getting houses (if they raise te money they need to)

It will be a long time before we have another NPC to UAH. Chi Omega used to be here until their nationals pulled their charter. Now we will have to wait until both sororities here have more members and a more stable recruitment.
As for the house, we made it! We had to raise $55,000 total. Out of the five groups competing (2 sororities and 3 fraternities) we were second to have all of our money. The house is scheduled to be completed by fall 2006 so that we can move in. It will house ten girls, each in a private bedroom, and will have five bathrooms for the bedrooms, it will also have a kitchen, chapter room, office, and lounge. The house is valued at $500,000+.
