The Beta Project
 

Since there was such an interest in all the available chapters in different areas in the country and most of us keep trying to find out September issues of the Torch, I've decided to take on the "Beta Project". It's going to be a text file containing the information from the September Torch about the different chapters around the world. It's gonna be a big undertaking but in the end it will be worth it. When the next posting of the chapters happens in September, all that will need to be done is to check to make sure everything is correct. Wish me luck and hope and pray my eyes don't cross.

I have a suggestion. If you can enter it all in Excel, you can then slice it and dice it again next September and it will make it a lot easier. You can then extract it to a text file for posting on the boards at that time.

This is a great idea. We all want BSP to grow, grow, GROW!

IT'S DONE!!!!!! My fingers have officially fallen off and I'm typing this with my nose. :D It was a really big undertaking but it's worth it. The results are posted on the Rosie group in Yahoo and I think that once I figure out how to use Photoshop and Imageready, I'll make it a website.

Now that the school year is coming to an end, I plan to put a little more effort into the Rosies. It's been quiet, but I still believe that there is a need for such a group. We need to find homes for all the "floaters" among us.

Just a quick update. I've begun doing the webpage for the chapters. Not every link works and it's being made and updated everyday. I'll start with the countries and do the states last. When you get to the chapters, you can click on the city and it will take you to mapquest.com for that particular city. I hope you guys like it and PLEASE give me some constructive criticism. The website CURRENTLY is http://www.geocities.com/bnavarre20/testing1 . Keep checking back to it often cause I'll keep doing the updates everyday as much as I can.

Just thought I'd bump this up since I just received my September Torch. I'll be going through it again, chapter by chapter. As for the website, it's a little too much after going through all the chapter information. I will however be posting all the chapter info on the Rosie's website. So it will all be updated. Time for the fingers to fall off again :D

Treat yourself to some good-smellin' hand lotion when you are done;) My favorite is Victoria's Secret pear.

It's good to hear that the big list will be updated. I am currently looking for a new chapter and I don't have the September Torch, so I have no idea what's out there! I miss being a part of a sisterhood. :(
