ETA: I have tons of tapes of songs that I would record off the radio. I LOVE pulling out those tapes and reminiscing - sometimes a song will remind me of a trip or a breakup where I heard that song over and over and over again. For those of you who are 90's music fans, do you find yourself as more of an early 90's or late 90's fan? I'm sort of stuck in the period b/w '92 and '97, with most of my favorites being earlier songs. Of course, there were quite a few great songs in the late 90's as well (such as w/ the Backstreet Boys and the first Britney Spears CD). :) |

I LOOOOOVED that video! :) I don't know why, but I KNEW that it was supposed to be Rebel without a Cause long before I even SAW the movie. Other than Rush, Rush, I like the following: - End of the Road, Boyz II Men - Kiss from a Rose, Seal - If I had $1,000,000, Barenaked Ladies (was this song ever a hit in the US? It was on the radio quite a bit in Canada) - You Were Meant for Me, Jewel - Beauty and the Beast, Celine Dion and Peabo Bryson - Posession, Sarah McLachlan - I Will Always Love You, Whitney Houston (I wasn't allowed to see The Bodyguard when it first came out, but I did see it a year later, on video) - Stop! Spice Girls (don't laugh.....we used to ask for it all the time during my frosh year in university, back in '98-'99) - You Must Love Me, Madonna |
